Lauren’s specialty is helping fearful and reactive dogs gain useful skills and helping clients like you get their lives back! She trains with mindfulness, kindness and dedication to each dog’s behavior change. Knowing each dog has brilliance beneath the issues they’re facing, she uses empathy and compassion to find the right solution for each individual. Of course, her training skills include efficient timing, effective reinforcement delivery, motivational techniques and more. She is certified as an Associate Certified Dog Behavior Consultant through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC.org). Continuing education is a quintessential part of being an effective trainer. Spending time outside, hiking and yoga are her favorite activities.
Amy Van Duzer, CTDI AKC CGC Evaluator and Trick Dog Instructor
Amy is certified through the AKC as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and Do More With Your Dog as a Certified Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI). She is fluent in dog body language, as well as how to prevent problem behaviors from ever developing! She is quick to teach a new cue to prevent and discourage issues such as jumping, nipping and chewing. Ask her what the best approach is to prevent boredom behaviors and she’ll give you great options that can adapt to your lifestyle. Amy is often found with her Beagle mix, Cinnamon, either fishing, trick training, playing corn hole or cuddling on the couch.
Maple our 12 year old Beagle is titled through Do More With Your Dog as a Novice Trick Dog. He enjoys training, hiking, chasing squirrels, napping and going kayaking.
Cinnamon our 14 year old Beagle/Dachshund mix is titled through Do More With Your Dog as an Intermediate Trick Dog. She enjoys training, walks, fishing, napping and going kayaking.
